Austrian Cold-Painted Owl Table Lighter/Striker c. early 1900’s

This fabulous Austrian cold-painted, bronze owl is perched on two books, next to a tree trunk.

The tree trunk holds the original metal striker.

Both pieces are on a black marble base, which measures 4 1/2″ long x 2 1/2″ wide. The entire table lighter measures 4 1/2″ tall.

It was made in the early 1930’s, and originally purchased in Germany. It is in excellent condition.

Elegant and distinguished-looking along with a touch of whimsy, this antique table lighter will certainly grace any office or home study.
