Presenting an exquisite example of Mid-Century German porcelain artistry: the “Bunny with Carrot” figurine, designed by the legendary sculptor Karl Tutter for Hutschenreuther’s prestigious Kunstabteilung (Art Department). This charming piece captures a moment of quiet mischief, rendered with the anatomical precision and soulful expression that defined Tutter’s celebrated career.

Hand-painted with a sophisticated palette of warm earthen tones, the rabbit features a lustrous high-glaze finish. The vibrant orange carrot and delicate greenery provide a striking contrast to the soft browns of the bunny’s coat.

This retired model (1948-1952)) carries the historic green lion hallmark and, exceptionally, its original paper department label on the underside.

Measuring 4 1/2″ tall x 4″ long x 2 1/4″ wide, this exquisite bunny is in excellent, ready-to-display condition.
