Vintage ERPHILA Fayence Cat Creamer c.1930’s

This sweet vintage fayence creamer has an adorable black and white cat as its handle.

It is marked “Erphila Germany” on the bottom. It was a mark used by the giftware importer, “Ebeling and Reuss” of Philadelphia between 1886 and the 1950’s. The mark is a combination of the letters E & R (Ebeling and Reuss), and the first letters of Philadelphia.

Originally made in Germany c.1930’s, it measures  1/2″ tall, with a 3″ diameter. It is in excellent, ready-to-use or display condition.

The cat is positioned on this creamer in a way that makes it appear as though she spots the cream and is about to risk falling in to steal a taste!
